Jaclyn's video addressing Luke Bryan about his new single was and is hilarious. And I agree with her. This isn't good music. See, I was taught a long time ago that I shouldn't EVER say I don't like a song publicly because I was a DJ. Well, times have changed.

People want honesty. YOU people want honesty. You deserve it.

And if we run across a new single that's so unpleasant to hear that we have to speak to it, then we will.

But I want to take it up another notch. This Luke Bryan song will be a national hit. You and I know that. He's one of the two or three biggest superstars in country music right now.

No, he will have no trouble getting a song to the top of the charts.

But, look who WILL in 2015 and beyond: Reba McEntire, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Alan Jackson, etc.

You get the picture.

There are 154 radio stations whose airplay is monitored by Billboard magazine and by Country Aircheck magazine, which uses a chart called Mediabase. Both charts are very similar.

And in many ways.

You won't find superstars like I mentioned a couple of paragraphs ago anywhere near the top 10. And my guess we never will again.

So I want to know. I NEED to know. WE need to know. Because we're playing music for YOU.

We need to have as many people voice their opinions about the current crop of hot artists--the Core--so that we can know what you truly do not want to hear.

I see the likes of Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Luke, Cole Swindell, Chase Rice, and others landing top ten and #1 hits, but all I ever hear about their music is how much people dislike it.

And when I say "all I ever hear" I'm talking about our audience. You guys. Because you're our only concern.

But we need to hear more. If we had a larger sample of our audience giving their opinions about new music, we'd have a much easier route to playing what you ACTUALLY want to hear. And avoiding that which you don't.

So tell me.

If we put up a poll, will you respond? To paraphrase Tom Cruise from Jerry Maguire: "Help US help YOU."
