Popular Owensboro Facebook Series ‘Live with Jeff’ Officially Returns

It has been years since Jeff Rhinerson has welcomed a guest to his popular Life with Jeff Facebook series. The COVID-19 pandemic affected much and Live with Jeff was certainly one its casualties.

Hosted by Jeff Rhinerson, an animated and spotlight-loving client of Puzzle Pieces here in Owensboro, Live with Jeff had grown into an incredibly popular series with its devoted listeners and the various community members who appeared on the show. Jeff canned 101 episodes in which he interviewed local TV celebrities . . .

business leaders, the heads of a variety of nonprofits here in town, and more.

However, when the COVID-19 pandemic forced everyone inside, Jeff's life was flipped upside down. Jeff, more than most, had to be incredibly mindful of the dangers of the Sars-Cov-2 virus.  His situation grew even more complicated when he slipped and fell on ice during a winter storm and broke his back. Jeff was hospitalized for a lengthy amount of time and the spiral of events was really extinguishing his spirit.  It was sad to watch. For the last couple of years, Jeff just hasn't been . . . well . . . Jeff.

Unfortunately, the spiral has continued.  Just in the last few months, Jeff lost his father, with whom he had lived his entire life. Shortly following the passing of his dad, Jeff had a serious health scare of his own and nearly didn't make it. Thankfully, he pulled through and that second chance has inspired the long-awaited rebirth of Live with Jeff.

YES!  Jeff's coming back and a bunch of us are here for it.  It's about darn time.

Last week, Jeff sat down the Puzzle Pieces CEO Amanda Owen to chat about the return of the show!

And, just like that, Jeff's back! Live with Jeff is set to return Monday, August 7th at Noon on Facebook Live. Because I have been encouraging him to get back on the proverbial saddle, Jeff has asked me to join him.  I promised him ages ago I'd be there when Live with Jeff made its comeback. I can't tell you how many times I have chatted with him in person or on the phone about how important it is that he returns.

After all, Jeffrey makes no bones about the fact that he loves the spotlight. I can safely say that the spotlight loves him back. And so do his fans. And today, their boy's back!
