Is It Possible to Lock a Car Over the Phone? [Video]

This is something I've been wanting to try for a very long time.  Is it possible to lock your car from 35 miles away while you are on the phone?  Will the radio wave from the key fob pass through the radio waves in the phone and lock a car?  Let's test it out. 

So Chad was in Evansville today and I was thinking this is the perfect time to test this out. So over FaceTime we tried this.  Is it possible to FaceTime lock a car?
