I cannot wait!  8:30pm CST tonight, Holiday World is set to make a MAJOR new ride announcement.  And they have been teasing us and dropping hints about it for months with their ingenious and clever website 66 Days at Sea. For the last 60-something days, the amusement park has been slowly giving clues and tonight the folks that have made educated guesses and wild stabs in the dark will learn if they were right, wrong, or close.  While we don't know exactly what the park is going to announce, there are a couple of things we are sure of.

Here's what we know absolutely:  #1-  The park is going to announce construction of a brand new ride tonight.  #2-  Construction of that ride is already underway in the Thanksgiving section of the park. They've been clearing sections of land next to The Voyage and behind Hyena Falls.  #3-  The ride is the park's most expensive endeavor ever.  In fact, the ride will cost TWICE as much as any new ride the park has ever built.  Exciting, right???  And #4-  I have been asked to emcee the big announcement this evening.

Okay, let me say that I am beyond honored that park officials invited me to emcee the big announcement.  I am humbled and thrilled all at the same time.  But I think (because I have been blogging aboutthis mystery and the "conspiracy theories" surrounding the new ride for months), that my own theories may have become an important part of the fabric of the mythology and the intrigue.  I said a couple of months ago that I thought the park was going BIG!  And I still think I'm right.  I think, tonight, I am going to be on hand when the park unveils its first ever steel roller coaster.

Now, I could be wrong.  And that's fine.  There will be absolutely no disappointment involved.  I know that Holiday World has something HUGE in store for us.  And I just can't wait to be there when "all will be revealed."  It's been 66 Days, folks! And the truth IS out there.  And tonight we are going to learn it.  PUMPED!!!!
