Martina McBride — Happy Birthday! So Fine, Like Wine, Since 99

Today is the day that along with Opening Day for Baseball should be declared a National H0liday as we all pause and reflect on all that is glorious about the one and only Martina Bride. Born on this date as Martina Mariea Schiff in Sharon, KS. in 1966. This year she celebrates her 20th anniversary as a recording artist.

She has sold over 18 million albums.

Martina married John McBride in 1988. The couple has three daughters 15-year-old Delaney Katharine, 13 yearold Emma Justine and 6-year-old Ava Rose Kathleen.

When Delaney was a wee babe, I saw Martina and Delaney shopping in a Piggy Wiggly store in Brentwood, TN.  I didn't say anything to interrupt her but was a "brush with greatness" I have never forgotten.
