Meet Blake, ya'll.  This guy is our SPARKY Pet of the Week. He is a beautiful two-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and, like all male dogs entered in the SPARKY program, he has been neutered.

If you're familiar with the breed, Australian Cattle Dogs are herders and they can get a little nippy because of it.  They can be a "little crazy."  While Blake does okay with other dogs, remember, he's a herder.  He's used to being in charge so he will bully other animals if he's allowed to.  There's no doubt he'll make a great pet for an active family that can ensure that he will be able to get enough exercise.  Herding dogs love activity, so it's important that Blake goes to a home than can provide that.

Blake is heartworm negative, is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is microchipped.

We have to give a shout out to SPARKY and all the folks who have stepped up to give their pups forever homes.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, SPARKY has been exceptionally busy finding homes for these lovable animals.  And, today, we're featuring Daisy as our SPARKY Pet of the Week!
