Mega Car Show Has Family Fun for Everyone in Western Kentucky
The biggest car show of the summer is almost upon us! Come out to see some classic beauties, listen to live music, check out the vendors, and grab something to eat from multiple food trucks. Everything on wheels is welcome and is open to motoring enthusiasts of all ages! We've got the list of vendors, food trucks, parking information, schedule of events, and everything else you'll need to know before you go.
There will be hundreds of antique cars, hot rods, muscle cars, jeeps, and bikes on the streets of Owensboro this weekend. It's finally time for the Bluegrass Legends Experience. Whether you want to eat some delicious food, listen to live music, show off your classic car, or check out the best vintage vehicles in town, there's something for the entire family at the event. Money raised will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!

THE BLUEGRASS LEGENDS EXPERIENCE - DAY 1
The inaugural Bluegrass Legends Experience is finally here! The ultimate event gets underway at Friday After 5 on August 18th, 2023. The Cruise-In will be held in the Owensboro Convention Center parking lot starting at 4:45 PM. It's free to attend. After you park, walk downtown to take in the food trucks, and activities for the children, and listen to live music. It all gets started with Snowman's Run to Benefit Wounded Veterans and East Bound and Down The Ultimate Smokey & the Bandit Tribute at McConnell Plaza from 5 PM until 7 PM.
DAY ONE SCHEDULE:
THE BLUEGRASS LEGENDS EXPERIENCE - DAY 2
Plan to head to the Owensboro Sports Center and Moreland Park on Saturday, August 19th, 2023. Car Show registration will be from 8 AM until 1 PM. There will be over 200 awards, hourly prizes, and more! $20 per vehicle car show entry fee (goes to St. Jude). Vendors and Swap Meet opens at 9 AM, Food Trucks open at 10 AM, and Live Music from 11 AM until 8 PM. The event is FREE for all ages!
The Smokey and the Bandit Parade will take place Saturday morning starting around 9:15 AM. Participants of the 2023 National Snowman's Run and tribute actors will be participants in the parade.
PARADE ROUTE:
The parade route will travel south on Frederica Street to Parrish Ave, turn right (west) onto Parrish Ave., and travel west to the destination.
THE BLUEGRASS LEGENDS EXPERIENCE - DAY 3
Day 3 continues with more family fun! The cruise-in begins at 8 AM on Sunday, August 20th, 2023. There will be a church service, followed by the opening of the food trucks and vendors. Music gets started at 11 AM in Moreland Park. The awards will be handed out in the Owensboro Sports Center from 1 PM until 2 PM. Music kicks back up at 2:30 PM and goes until the closing ceremonies at 6 PM. The event is FREE for all ages!
Remember, money raised at the event will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!

Come hungry! Food Trucks are about to take center stage at the Bluegrass Legends Experience. There will be many food trucks set up right outside the Owensboro Convention Center serving up your favorite foods.
Plan on bringing the entire family for a day of classic cars, bikes, trucks, great food, music, prizes, activities, and more! I'll see you there.

If You Are Arriving From The East (Frederica St) Side. You WIll Turn Right Onto Moreland Ave. (Street Just East Of The Park) Travel To 12th And Turn Left.
If You Are Arriving From The West (Carter Rd / US HWY 60 Bypass) You Will Turn Left Onto Parkview Dr. (Street Just West Of Owensboro Sports Center & Edge Ice Arena) Travel To 12th And Turn Right.
Car Show (ALL VEHICLES) WIll Enter Through Registration At The Corner Of 12th And Hickman Ave. (The ONLY EXCEPTION WIll Be Smokey and the Bandit Parade Participants) ON SATURDAY MORNING ONLY.
