Ohio County Nonprofit Rallying Community For Cancer Patients

No One Fights Alone is a Ohio County, non-profit organization to support cancer patients and their families. A group of friends affected by cancer have come together to raise awareness and offer emotional and financial support, so you know you're not alone in the fight. A fundraiser is planned to kick off the initiative!

Brandy Rothgerber, President of the Ohio County chapter of No One Fights Alone, reached out to talk about the charity and a fundraiser on the horizon. Eight fierce and fabulous women started the non-profit, and hope to make the dream a reality. But, they need our help!

"No One Fights Alone in Ohio County is an upcoming nonprofit in Ohio County,
Kentucky. With our first fundraiser event “Cruisin and Craftin for a Cure'', we hope to raise enough money to obtain our 501-3C status. No One Fights Alone in Ohio County’s beginning board is a group of women who all have a history of cancer. We take a unique look at the disease itself, through the eyes of someone who has survived it, lost loved ones, and supported loved ones through it. It is our goal to help those in Ohio County who are diagnosed with any type of cancer through support groups, knowledge, monetary donations, and assistance."

CRUISIN' & CRAFTIN' FOR A CURE BENEFIT

Rev up those engines! It's all going down at Ohio County Park on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 from 9 AM until 3 PM. Not only will there be all of those vintage vehicles to admire, but there's so much more planned. Black House Charlie will take the stage at 11 AM. The Poker Run registration begins at 9:30 AM, with kick stands up at 10:15 AM—$ 20 registration fee. A Car Show gets underway at 10 AM with a $20 entry fee. Food, a craft and vendor show, and tons of family fun are planned.

It will be a beautiful weekend in Hartford to see vintage vehicles from decades past. The goal is to raise funds to help No One Fights Alone get off the ground in Ohio County. You can help make that happen! If you are affected by cancer it's nice to know you have support along your journey.
