Owensboro Catholic HS Girls Begin Sweet 16 Journey Thursday

3rd Region and All "A" State Champs the Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces play their first round game in the KHSAA Girls Sweet 16 Basketball Tournament Thursday at 12:00pm. OCHS (24-7) will take the Lincoln County Lady Patriots out of the 12th Region, who come into the tournament with a 27-5 record.

Another area team, the Henderson County Lady Colonels, play their first round game tonight at 6:30pm against Anderson County who comes into the Sweet 16 with an impressive 32-1 record. All games are being played at E.A. Diddle Arena on the campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
