There's lots of hair at the competition this year. The iconic hairstyle was made popular during the '80s and into the early '90s, and thanks to Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Hardy, and others, it's making a creative comeback. Who will be crowned the USA Mullet Champ? Don't mullet over and vote for Ellis.

ELLIS HAYNES PARTICIPATES IN USA MULLET CHAMPIONSHIP

Ellis worked hard to grow the perfect mullet to compete in the USA Mullet Championship. He shared his excitement on the event page.

"My mullet started as a bet from my mom after seeing the Mullet Competition in 2022. As it grew I realized how much cooler I looked with my Harvest Hero. Sometimes I like to put the John Deere logo in the shaved part just to change it up a little bit. Now I can't imagine not having a mullet. It's just part of me now."

HOMES FOR WOUNDED WARRIORS

This isn't just a hair competition. It's about raising money to help our military veterans. The 2023 contest has already garnered over $32,000 in donations.

"We’re not just here to admire great hair, we’re also here to make a difference. That’s why we’re partnering with Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors, a charity that helps provide homes for our wounded veterans. For each donation made on behalf of the contestant of your choice, we’ll contribute to the overall score of that contestant. So not only will you help choose the winner, but you’ll also help raise money for a great cause."

Not only is it a fun contest, but it's a beautiful mission to boot!
