It was August 25th, 2011 that Brandon Mullins was killed in Afghanistan. The 2008 Apollo High School graduate had been stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, but was in the Middle East on special orders with Operation Enduring Freedom. While serving there, his vehicle was attacked in the Kandahar province and the Owensboro, Kentucky native never made it back home. Three years later, his parents, Tommy and Cathy Mullins, have recorded this stirring tribute to their son. It's called "Twenty One." And as powerful as the song is, you must watch the video through to its conclusion. It's the voice of Brandon that will ultimately give you chills and remind you that tomorrow is never promised. This is incredible.
