Squirrel Appreciation Day – CB Radio Takes to the Park [VIDEO][PICS]

Today being National Squirrel Appreciation Day, Chad and I deemed it necessary to head to Legion Park here in Owensboro and show these squirrels how much we care for them.  We went and fed them crackers and gave them a free photo shoot. 

Upon arrival, I noticed they were really digging for some good breakfast in the trash can by the walking path.  As soon as I got out of the car, they started getting curious about what was going to be happening, and they all sort of perked up.

This guy is Rupert, he took a break from playing piano to come to the park.   He was the first to arrive and check out the saltine package.  He was all about it.  And a greedy, hungry little guy too.

These two are Slappy and Skippy.  Secret Squirrel Agent 000 is scampering off to the grass to hide and look for his next available opportunity to attack.

Agent 000 was still in the grass when Slappy and Skippy came up for round one.  Slappy is very patient while he waits for his turn to feast.

Luckily Bullwinkle didn't show because I would have definitely run out of crackers then... but Rocky was there to collect his share of the saltine crackers.  CB RADIO SHOW TO THE RESCUE!!! And Happy Squirrel Appreciation Day!!
