Chad and I had an absolute blast in Nashville for the CMA Music Fest! We kicked off our live coverage Thursday morning, bright and early, with the LoCash Cowboys for breakfast at Puckett's Grocery. You may not like this.  The 41st annual CMA Music Festival is coming up June 7th through the 10th in Nashville and there's going to be a big change to the event's autograph policies.  In the past, fans (thousands of them) would line up and camp for the chance to snag the autograph of their favorite artist.  This year, you won't be able to.  The CMA has decided to institute a lottery of sorts.  So,

I don't know if I'll ever make to a CMA Music Fest, but thank goodness major networks like ABC, can bring all the highlights to my living room, er, bedroom, wherever, and I don't have to worry about the crowds or the heat.

On Sunday, my friend Chelsea and I made the short drive to Nashville for the last day of the CMA Music Fest. (Thanks Todd for the tickets!!) I don't know what we were more excited about....seeing Miranda Lambert or having a girls day out!!

Monday, the day before we left for Nashville, Chad and I discussed how incredibly hot  it was going to be  while doing the live broadcast from the Grand Ole Opry Plaza. A few weeks ago, Chad says to me, "How would you like to do your show from the Grand Ole Opry June 7th?" The answer was a simple, "Uh, yeah!" Twist my arm, right?
