I guess the huge success of the Coat of Many Colors movies was a big inspiration.

In the aftermath of the recent fires that destroyed homes and businesses in Gatlinburg, Dolly Partan has decided to donate $1,000 a month to victims. The donations will come from the recently established, "My People Fund", as well as funds from Dolly's various businesses...

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have been a major focus of attention as the nation watches the flames from Smoky Mountain wildfires surround the popular resort towns.
