Yesterday was my second time to have the honor of playing the Big O Music Fest. In one word, the day was AMAZING!! Speaking for my band, we were truly honored to share with the stage with Blake Shelton, Tracy Lawrence, JoDee Messina (my new BFF!), Gloriana, LoCash Cowboys, Joanna Smith and Brian Hart.
I've never played in front of that many people before, but I'm really hoping that it won't be my last! The crowd was awesome!!! Here are a few pics of my day at the Big O! Tune in Monday morning to hear all about my day! I've got lots of fun stories!!

But, last Friday at the International BBQ Festival, Jaclyn faced one of her greatest fears . . . the ZIPLINE! Seize the "spray tan" deals so you can look like you've been sunbathing in Panama City Beach since you popped out of the womb. The Lanham Brothers Jamboree returns to Diamond Lake's GOOD TIME Theatre on Saturday, April 14th and Jaclyn and I are headlining the first show of the season. What can I say? I love me some Jeannie Seely. And Saturday night, at WBKR Night at the Opry, the fleeting love affair we began two years ago this month, was rekindled, briefly, in front of thousands. Now, Jeannie. Don't read this and deny our passion for one another. We don't have to Romeo and Juliet this puppy. We can own it. I love you. You love me. And now we have about 35-hundred witnesses. Roses are red, my love. Violets are blue. And I am writing this loving blog, especially for you.
2012 means in with the "new" and out with the "old." And, earlier this week, I decided to clean out my kitchen cabinets and throw away some "non-perishable" food that I hadn't gotten around to eating . . . IN YEARS! After filling two huge bags, Jaclyn and I decided that we would show you what I found and prove, once and for all, that there is no such thing as "non-perishable" food! Yesterday at the Christmas Wish office, Jaclyn reached into her bag and noticed that someone had opened her Christmas Tree snack cake, taken a bite, then wrapped it back up and put it back in her bag. Naturally, she accused me! Now, on any given day, there are DOZENS of volunteers our Christmas Wish office. Any single one of them could have reached into Jaclyn's mongrammed 31 Bag and taken out that blasted icing-filled tree of delight. But did she think about the other possibilities??? NO!!!!!!
