Jeopardy!

It's always cool when your town is mentioned on national TV - and one of the coolest things is when it's a Jeopardy answer. Last week, Evansville, Louisville, and Jeffersonville was the "answer." Can you guess what they all have in common?

Jeopardy! clues about Kentucky may be difficult for most people, but not for us natives. At least most of the time, anyway.

'Jeopardy!' host Alex Trebek has died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

This is SO cool!  A Facebook friend of WBKR General Manager, LaDonne Craig, was recently tuned into Jeopardy and heard Alex Trebek read a clue that involved everyone's #1 theme park for family fun, Holiday World!  Luckily, the camera was handy to capture a screen shot.  Check it out!

Well, it seems America's newest star is Watson, the IBM computer that is schooling the greatest Jeopardy! champs of all time, Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter. He even performs the requisite "cutting up" with host Alex Trebek. Now there was a bug that allowed Jennings to score a Daily Double, but other than that, it's been a real woodshed beating.
