It's about that time. The Hartford Fire Department's "Hoses and Hot Rods" fundraiser will be this Saturday, September 22nd. 

The 7th annual car, truck, and bike show will be set up at the courthouse square in downtown Hartford from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Entry fee is $10 per car. Judging will begin at 11:30 a.m. It's open class so all vehicles welcome with free dash plaques for the first 75 entries. Trophies will also be awarded.

This year's activities include: bounce house for the kids, 50/50 drawing, swap meet, door prizes, music, Smokey the Bear will be there, and food and fun for the whole family.

**New this year will be the event's first ever 5K. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the 5K will be at 8:30 a.m. Registration fee is $35.

"Hoses and Hot Rods" is FREE and open to the public.
