Angel Bought The One Golden Girls Item She Has Coveted For Years

Betty White better known as Rose Nylund from The Golden Girls the fun-loving Scandanavian from St. Olaf celebrated her 99th birthday yesterday, Sunday, January 17. Her special day had me all in the feels and I wanted to share my recent Golden Girls purchase.

Angel here and I would venture to say I am one of the biggest Golden Girls fans of all time. I grew up watching the girls on Friday nights with my momma. It was our thing. We would order Little Caesar's pizza, buy a lottery ticket, and watch TGIF.

The girls taught me about life and laughter and even when our life was chaotic I could sit down on the couch and get lost in the show. Now that my momma is gone I watch to feel close to her and reminisce about our times together.

I started collecting the Golden Girls DVD's when I was in my 20's and in my 30's t-shirts and other memorabilia. Here are just a few things I have and I would love to see all your GG gear!

Betty White is the last remaining Golden Girl. Estelle Getty "Sophia" passed on July 22, 2008. Bea Arthur "Dorothy" passed on April 25, 2009. Rue McClanahan "Blanche" passed on June 3, 2010.

These ladies introduced public television to controversial topics in a way we could understand and see in a more light-hearted way.
