Here's what her sister Lisa Mcdonald had to say on Facebook about Chris and her battle:

"My sister, Chris is fighting breast cancer. While undergoing chemo she has continued to work at TGI FRIDAYS as a cook where she has worked for 19 years. She is now in the hospital with diverticulitis. She will be unable to continue chemo until she recovers from this infection. With that being said, she is also unable to work. She and I have never been one to ask for anything, but this is too much for one family to take on."

We agree Lisa and want to help get the word out.

Lisa went on to share kind words about the Morris family which we already know all too well. They are such a blessing to this community!

"I contacted Vickie and Jerry Morris (Angels for Ashley) and told them the situation and asked if they could do a benefit for my sister. Within 5 minutes Jerry gave me a date. They don't even know my sister's name. These are the most caring, selfless, and generous people I have ever met."
