Another Kentucky Based Chef Will Compete on New Season of Top Chef
What food shows do you never miss? One show I never miss and honestly it's the only one I watch. It's Bravo's Top Chef.
It all started in March of 2006, 19 years ago (!) and the Emmy-winning reality competition show is very popular. Season 22 will debut on March 13th and another Kentucky-based chef is stepping up to the plate, grill, blender, and so forth.
Ecuadorian native Paula Endara is the Executive Chef at the Granddam and the Lost Palm restaurants in Lexington. Lost Palm is on the rooftop of the Manchester Hotel. Rupp Arena at the Central Bank Center is just a 15-minute walk away.

I said another; there are more. Paducah native Sara Bradley was a runner-up on two seasons, Top Chef: Kentucky and Top Chef: World All-Stars. She did win the Food Network's Chopped as the Best in America competition. Bradley is back in the news because she has been nominated for a James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southeast (GA, KY, NC, SC, TN, WV). Bradley and Endara are graduates of the James Beard Bootcamp for Policy and Change. Sara is the chef/owner of the Freight House in Paducah.
Edward Lee, who lives in Louisville, is the chef and owner of 610 Magnolia. He competed on Top Chef: Texas and was eliminated in episode 14. He's a multiple James Beard Best Chef: Southeast nominee, won the James Beard award for writing, and has been a guest chef at the White House.
One note, the new season is called Top Chef: Destination Canada not to be confused with the Canadian edition of the show which aired its 11th season last year.
