Beach Palms in Siesta Key, Florida: Chad’s Home Away from Home Last Week

Kevin and I love Siesta Key, though it has been six years since we last visited.  As some of you know, we were supposed to head to Europe the last couple of weeks, but COVID-19 travel restrictions quickly canceled those plans.  So, we weighed options and decided to head down to an old favorite- Siesta Key, Florida (just south of Sarasota).  We had walked by Beach Palms many times, but, this year, decided to stay there.  It's literally steps from the beach and the cottages (there are three total- a pink and yellow one too) look charming, inviting and fun!  We stayed in the Blue Cottage.  It was "beach house" perfection.  Cozy, comfortable, with a splash of Golden Girls-inspired decor.

Since sharing some photos on Facebook, I have already had some friends reach out to ask about the cottages.  I am pretty sure my 4th-grade girlfriend Cindy is going to be heading there early next year.
