KY, IN and IL! Vote For Your Ten Favorite Country Songs of 2024

Here at The Country Station, 92.5 WBKR, we're getting ready for the 2024 Big BKR Smackdown. It's our annual on-air and online event that allows YOU to vote for your favorite country songs of the year. Think March Madness meets the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. We are going to take the 64 most popular country songs of 2024 and put them in a huge tournament bracket. Then, on Monday, December 30th, that bracket and those head-to-head results will play out on the air.

We've been closing out the year like this for over a decade here at WBKR and that tradition continues with what's shaping up to be an epic battle for the top spot for 2024. Last year, Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson took the top spot with this!

Who's going to claim the crown this year?

Dave Spencer and I will be hosting the Big BKR Smackdown beginning at 7am CST, on December 30th. YOU will have the opportunity to vote, in real time, for your favorite songs of the year. By the end of the day, your votes will have narrowed our list, our bracket of 64 popular country songs, down to just one- the champion!!  The #1 Country Song of 2024.

Now, to get the ball rolling and to seed our tournament bracket, we're going to put you to work in what we consider our preliminary Big BKR Smackdown round.  Here's our list of the Top 64 country songs of 2024. These are songs that made their way onto the country charts this year and received airplay here at WBKR!  There are some massive hits on this list. There are also some songs that didn't enjoy as much chart success, but certainly had their share of fans as well. We want to know which ones are YOUR favorites.
