Nashville International Airport has been undergoing a major facelift inside and out. Now, BNA is ready to show off some of the internal work that's been going on to folks who don't usually get the chance to see beyond the lobby. Just today, the airport announced the BNA Passport. And, no. This passport won't get you in and out of the country, but it will get you into the airport- beyond the security checkpoint- without an airline ticket. Here's how it works!

Effective, July 1st, 2024, the BNA Passport allows non-ticketed guests to access the various dining and retail options that are located inside the airport beyond the TSA security checkpoint. If you're in possession of a BNA Passport, you'll be able to shop, dine, enjoy the art exhibits, and the live music being played on stages throughout the terminals. You'll also be able to meet and greet your loved ones at the gate and you can have a seat and enjoy watching the airplanes take off and land.

If you'd like to apply for a BNA Passport, you can do so online. You have to provide the very minimum of a 24-hour notice and you can reserve your passport up to 7 days in advance. Once you apply, you'll receive a notification of approval or denial at midnight on the day of your requested visit. If you receive approval, you will be able to access post-security areas of Nashville International between 8am and 8pm CST.
