Burger Lovers Get Ready For The Burgers And Barnyard Bash
Though Owensboro Burger Week 2026 has come to a successful close, one local participant is keeping the love for burgers alive as we roll into April. The Cottage Farm Stand & Baking Co. had an incredible Burger Week. Their Daviess County Double earned them a second place win in the Judge's Choice category.

The Cottage recently announced another way to celebrate burgers.
THE BURGER & BARNYARD BASH AT THE COTTAGE
They're hosting the inaugural Burgers & Barnyard Bash, which is coming up on Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th.
If you're craving a burger, The Cottage is going to be serving up their two famous Owensboro Burger Week creations- the popular Owensburger and this year's Daviess County Double. Both are made with beef from Hill View Farms Meats. During the festival, those burgers will be grilled on site and served with The Cottage's staple side orders like fries and tots.
Plus, there will be lots of activities for families with children. There will be mini golf, yard games, and even a small barnyard with goats, chickens, and bunnies!
The Burgers & Barnyard Bash will be held from 11am to 3pm both days and is free and open to the public.
It's the perfect way to cap off Spring Break here in Owensboro and Daviess County. If you're looking for a really unique 'staycation' destination, The Cottage looks like it's the place to be.
Marlene Knight, who owns The Cottage, says, "Events like this are about bringing neighbors together, sharing great food from local ingredients, and helping people discover what The Cottage is all about."
The Cottage is located at 6869 Hwy 56 in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Also, looking ahead, The Cottage is currently accepting vendor applications for its popular (and annual) Strawberry Festival. It's set for Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th. If you're interested in joining the fun, you can do by CLICKING HERE.
