Burns Middle School Students Hosts Cupcake Wars [VIDEO]

Yesterday I got to be a guest judge for the Burns Middle School Cupcake Wars!   Eighth-grade students in Mrs. Katie Blandford's Family and Consumer Science Class were put into groups and given the task to create cupcakes with a movie theme.  Each group was asked to provide a marketing strategy, stage their cupcakes, think about taste and texture for the consumer, and execute the entire project as if they were really selling their cupcakes.

BMS staff members and yours truly were invited to taste test a set of six different cupcakes and score them on Presentation, Marketing Strategy, Texture, Taste, and Originality.
