Camping Season Ends with a Truckload of Christmas Wish Donations
Boo Fest weekends wrapped up in a big way at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort. Many campers came out for some spooktacular fun and to donate to Christmas Wish. Here's a look back at Boo Fest 2020.
Just look at all of the photos below to see how much fun Boo Fest was at Diamond Lake this season. It was also a Christmas Wish Fundraiser. If campers brought in a new toy, coat or cash, they got their name in a drawing for two nights of free camping. Congrats to Jason Collignon for winning the raffle. And, thank you to ALL who donated to ensure that every child in the tri-state gets a visit from Santa this season.
Drum roll.....Over 100 toys were donated and close to $500 in cash was raised. Diamond Lake will continue to accept donations even though the raffle is over.
Janice said, "We appreciate our campers so much. They always support this great cause. We are still accepting Christmas Wish donations even though the raffle is over. Thank you."
Many of you may not know this. Janice, Brian, Amy, Brandon and Tanner all volunteer for Christmas Wish each season. Janice is on the Board of Directors and is invaluable! This family will spend hours of their time helping those in need. No questions asked. They see first hand how many families just need a small hand up during the holidays. I don't know what I would do without the entire clan. They are special humans.
