City of Owensboro Offering Relief Program For Restaurant/Bars
As COVID-19 continues to bare down on many in the workforce those who work in the Restaurant/Bar industry have taken a hard hit all year long. The City of Owensboro wants to help in a time of great need.
They are offering a program that will help to supplement the pay of the employees that work in these types of jobs in the Owensboro area. The program is called The OBKY Restaurant/Bar Supplemental Payroll Program.
Now this doesn't mean the City will be paying lost wages directly to those people who have lost work due to COVID-19. A restaurant or bar owner/manager can apply for these funds which they can then use to distribute to their employees. The money granted can only be used for those who are currently on the payroll.
If you are a Restaurant/Bar owner and think you might want to apply for this relief program for the City of Owensboro here are the things you will need;
- The Relief Fund Form
- W-9 Form
- KY UI 3 Form or Report
For further questions or information anyone interested can email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 270-687-8321 or 270-687-5600.
