Come Hungry! Highly Anticipated 2022 WBKR Yard Party Season Starts Friday
We're throwing a sizzling hot Yard Party to support a wonderful cause on Friday. Join us on the front lawn for a day of eating and giving! Come out to support the Opportunity Center of Owensboro. Here's the menu and how to pre-order your meal.
It's my favorite time of the year! It's WBKR Yard Party season. It's a chance to celebrate local non-profits and help them raise money for their causes. Because of the pandemic, 2020 couldn't happen. Then in 2021, we started the season late in the summer because of the ongoing pandemic threat. Now it's on, and we couldn't be any more excited. We hope to see you on the front lawn sometime this summer to have lunch with us. We can't wait! A special thank you to Bakos Party Rentals for supplying tables and chairs for the season. They always support local non-profits, and for that, we're thankful.
Opportunity Center Yard Party
We're kicking off the 2022 WBKR Yard Party season with a wonderful non-profit. Stop by the WBKR front lawn Friday, May 20th, 2022, from 11 am until 2 pm to grab a bite to eat. We'll be serving up a hamburger or hot dog boxed lunches for just $5. 100% of the proceeds will help the mission of the Opportunity Center in Owensboro. Learn more about their important mission below.
Serving Up Delicious Food
With your hamburger or hotdog box lunches, you'll also receive a bag of chips, and a snack. There will also be hamburger/hot dog combo box lunches served for just $7 each.
