Community Tree Planting Day at Kendall-Perkins Park

Kendall-Perkins Park is hosting a planting event. Volunteers are needed to plant trees and shrubs to enhance this wonderful park in Owensboro.

Let's make Owensboro a little greener on Friday, November 8th, 2019 from 9 AM–12 PM. The Northwest Neighborhood Alliance, in conjunction with Lowe's Home Improvement, will be planting several trees and shrubs in Kendall-Perkins Park. They'll make the park beautiful and will provide a shady place to cool down on those hot summer days.

Shovel and gloves will be provided for planting, digging and raking. The public is welcome.
