Dale Earnhardt Jr, Wife, Daughter Okay After Plane Crash
Legendary NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr., his wife Amy, and daughter Isla are okay after a plane they were on crashed in east Tennessee near Bristol.
The family was on a private plane that crashed at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport. The plane ran off the end of the runway and caught fire. All passengers were removed from the plane safely. There were five passengers in total.
All passengers were taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. No serious injuries have been reported. Earnhardt, Jr's injuries consist of cuts and abrasions.
The family was headed to Bristol for this weekend's races.
