Dangersous Centertown Intersection will Get New Sign

One of the area’s most dangerous intersections is in Centertown at the juncture of Kentucky 85 and Kentucky 69. This is a “T” intersection. As you can see there is a curve that causes drivers to sometimes not see the stop sign. Many a collision has occurred because eof it. Just last week a truck driver went through the stop sign, flipped over and the driver, Richard Cline, was seriously injured. A new sign warning a stop sign is just ahead will be posted soon. Officials are more hopeful for flashing lights at a later time. Meanwhile if your drive through that area just east of Centertown … STOP!
