The lineup for David Allan Coe's show, scheduled for September 14th at the Daviess County Lions Club Fairgrounds just added a band that has been met with controversy as of late.

Grammy-nominated Confederate Railroad has lost two gigs, one just last week at the Ulster County Fair in New York and they were also dropped from a scheduled August 27th show at the De Quoin State Fair in Illinois due to their name and use of the Confederate flag in their logo.

The band, formed in Atlanta, Georgia, got its name from a steam locomotive called the General that was commandeered by the Union during the Civil War.

CR will be joining David Allan Coe along with Whey Jennings (Waylon's grandson), local favorites Backford Creek, Chandler Rowdy Roberts, Jason Evans, and Whiskey Alibi at the Daviess County show.
