The WBKR listening area was well represented this weekend at the NDA Nationals in Orlando, Florida.  Two area high school dance teams brought home national titles.

Sunday afternoon, the Daviess County High School Pantherettes won the NDA National Hip Hop Championship!

Saturday afternoon, Henderson County Colonelettes took home the national title in the NDA Game Day Division!!

By the way, the Pantherettes were in the mix in that division two.  In fact, they placed 2nd to Henderson for a one-two sweep for local teams!

In addition to winning the Game Day division, Henderson County took 8th Place in the Pom category and placed 15th in Hip Hop.

HUGE congratulations to the teams from both schools!  The Pantherettes and Colonelettes are proof that hard work, endurance, precision, desire and heart can truly pay off.  And, this weekend, it did.  With a national title for each school!
