With the arrival of fall comes school Fall Festivals!  I loved attending these as a student and even more now as a parent with my own children. 

BES – Oct. 18
Burns Elementary School is hosting a Fall Festival on Thursday, Oct. 18. The school is located at 4514 Goetz Drive. The evening begins with a chili supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m.; menu features chili, hot dogs, chips and soft drink.
Games and activities are planned from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., including pony rides, pumpkin ring toss, cornhole, cake walk, face painting, haunted house, petting zoo, duck pond, fun photos, lollipop tree, mini basketball, fishing pond, tattoos, dance room, putting green, estimation station, sack race and more. A silent auction is also planned. Tickets are 50 cents each or $5 for 16 tickets. Join your family, friends and neighbors for a great evening of food and fun!

SES – Oct. 19
Sorgho Elementary School is hosting a Fall Festival from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. The school is located at 5390 Kentucky 56. Menu includes chili, pizza and hot dogs.
Activities are planned for the whole family, including a silent auction, face painting, ring toss, bouncers and more. Bracelets for kid games are $10 at the door, for an evening of fun and games.

BMS – Oct. 25
Burns Middle School is hosting a Fall Festival from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25. The school is located at 4610 Goetz Drive. Everyone is invited to enjoy food, games and a haunted house. Tickets are available at the door for $1 each. Proceeds to benefit the BMS Youth Services Center and school clubs and athletic teams.

AES – Oct. 26
Audubon Elementary School is hosting a Harvest Festival from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26. The school is located at 300 Worthington Road. The Apollo High School cross country team will be grilling and a variety of food trucks will be on site, including Real Hacienda, Jay’s Good Grub, Kona Ice and Fresh by Gene’s. Children are encouraged to wear costumes and take part in trick-or-treating at 6 p.m.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $1 each. Wrist bands are $10 each and will be available at the door or in advance; bands include inflatables, petting zoo, trick-or-treating and all other games except the cake walk, which requires a $1 ticket. A silent auction is planned with lots of great items available for bid!

MLES – Oct. 26
Meadow Lands Elementary School will host a Fall Festival from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26. The school is located at 3500 Hayden Road. Tickets may be purchased in advance: 24 for $10 or 12 for $5; or the night of the event for two for $1. Concessions include walking tacos, desserts, popcorn, hot dogs, chips and snack cakes. Activities include a petting zoo, bouncy houses, football toss, hair color spray, nail salon, silent auction, face painting, general store, ring toss, cake walk and more.

SOES – Oct. 26
Southern Oaks Elementary School will host a Fall Festival from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26. The school is located at 7525 U.S. 431 South. The evening will feature a haunted house, games, food and a silent auction. Kids are invited to wear costumes and take pumpkins to collect candy on the Trail of Treats!
