Elvie Shane from Caneyville, Kentucky Lands Gig on the Brooks & Dunn Reboot Tour

Elvie Shane, who's an up and coming country star originally from Caneyville, Kentucky, just landed himself a ridiculously huge gig for later this year.  He's the opening act on the Brooks & Dunn Reboot Tour 2021!  In addition to opening for Brooks & Dunn, Elvie's going to be joined on the tour by country music legend Travis Tritt.

Elvie's first single continues to move up the Billboard and Mediabase Country Charts.  In fact, "My Boy" is a Top 20 hit.

Elvie first burst onto the national scene about four years ago, when he was contestant on Season 15 of American Idol. He received a "golden" ticket during the audition round and made it to the group round of Hollywood Week.

Today, he's enjoying major chart success and will soon be enjoying major tour success.  Brooks & Dunn just announced their 2021 Reboot Tour and Elvie landed the opening slot on the road.   Several dates on that tour are within driving distance of the WBKR listening and Elvie's hometown of Caneyville, which is situated in Grayson County, Kentucky.

The tour opens Thursday, September 2nd at the Ruoff Music Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The next night they'll roll into the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis. Then, on Saturday, September 4th, the tour will be at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
