ESPN College GameDay Making First Ever Trip To Louisville Saturday
It's about time! The popular ESPN College GameDay program will be rolling into to Louisville Saturday morning in advance of the 10th-ranked Cards' big week three match-up against ACC rival and 2nd-ranked Florida State. It will be GameDay's first ever trip to Louisville.
Bobby Petrino's Cards have absolutely demolished their first two opponents: Charlotte and Syracuse. Florida State is one of the most-storied teams in college football history; a Cards win would be huge and it would send a message to the other big dogs vying for a spot in the playoffs later this season. As for the College GameDay viewers, co-host Leo Corso is a Florida State grad and he was the head coach at Louisville 1969-72. Will he don the Cardinals head in signifying a victory?
Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Samantha Ponder will be on-site to call the game which is set to begin at 11:00 am (CDT) and it will air on ABC.
If the excitement isn't enough, check out the helmets Louisville will be sporting.
Yay!
