Nashville and the rest of middle Tennessee are still reeling from Monday's deadly tornado outbreak that claimed some two dozen lives and destroyed an untold number of structures.

The images we've seen are as horrifying and humbling as any pictures of anything I have ever seen.

These storms just lasted so long and left destruction and tragedy in their wake.

Eighteen lives were lost in Putnam County, Tennessee alone. Putnam County is east of Nashville down Interstate 40.

WVLK-Knoxville reports that, in the rubble, workers found a family Bible that was practically unharmed.

The station's Amanda Hara talks about the nearly 75-year-old Bible and taking custody of it in order to find its owners.
