Remember when it was warm on Halloween? Well, I believe Fall is finally here, and a part of winter is about to arrive. The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Freeze Warning in effect midnight tonight until 8:00 a.m. Sunday.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A FREEZE
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM CST
SUNDAY.

* TEMPERATURES...A WIDESPREAD FREEZE IS ANTICIPATED TONIGHT ACROSS
  THE ENTIRE QUAD STATE REGION. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO DIP
  TO NEAR OR BELOW FREEZING SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT...THEN REMAIN
  BELOW THE FREEZING MARK FOR SEVERAL HOURS THROUGH AROUND 8 AM OR
  SO.

* IMPACTS...SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES AT NIGHT CAN KILL MOST
  SENSITIVE VEGETATION. POTTED PLANTS NORMALLY LEFT OUTDOORS
  SHOULD BE BROUGHT INSIDE AWAY FROM THE COLD.

A FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT OR
HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER
SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

Yes, if you were putting off taking those potted plants inside, make sure you do it for sure tonight before the temperature drops.
