Angel here and I'm a momma of 5 kiddos.  They all have totally different personalities so what worked for one might not necessarily work for the other.  I learned this early on when I had my oldest three back-to-back in 27 months.  YES, that's right.  I was a new mom so I had to start from scratch and learn it all.  Parker, the oldest was easy he didn't cry a lot but when he did all you had to do was pick him up and talk to him.   Kathern would scream at the top of her lungs until she got exactly what she wanted and that was her momma and Braden feeding him a snack and sitting him down always helped.  The second two are totally different.  Tucker who is now 10 didn't calm down for anything and threw the worst fits.  Charlotte, 7, usually chilled out if you gave her a pacifier and her blankie.

Having other moms to look to for advice and to bounce ideas off of has always been fantastic.  There is one momma who is receiving national attention for her hilarious way of getting her daughter to stop crying.

THIS MOMMA IS A GENIUS

Alivia Cromartie has gone viral because of her baby-whispering tactics.  She was featured on Today and Yahoo after her Instagram video gained tons of attention.  She told Today, If toddler tantrums are testing your patience, try doing zoomies. Not only will your kid stop crying, but you also feel calmer.

She went on to prove it in the video below.  I actually felt calmer watching it myself.  The TikTok video has had over 15 million views.

“POV: This is how you gentle parent when your toddler is on the verge of a meltdown … zoomies!”
