Hillbilly Jim to be Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame [VIDEO]
You may have seen the town Mud Lick, Kentucky featured on a recent episode of The X-Files, but did you know its most famous resident is headed to the WWE Hall of Fame?
Louisville native James Morris AKA Hillbilly Jim will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 6th. He is the first Kentuckian to be inducted. Although his persona/character was a true hillbilly, Jim was one of the good guys occasionally teaming up with WWE legend Hulk Hogan. You may remember his finishing move, the "Bear Hug".
Morris has been a fixture around south central Kentucky for the last 20 or so years as he calls Franklin home. He retired from wrestling in 1991.
Joining Hillbilly Jim in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018 are Jeff Jarrett, Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, and Ivory.
