Belle of Louisville

The Belle of Louisville Riverboats consists of two riverboats, the Belle of Louisville which was built in 1914, and the Mary M. Miller which is the newest addition to Louisville's waterfront. I'm not sure how I've lived in a city on the river my whole life, and I've never been on a riverboat cruise. Of course, the only time I've ever been on an actual riverboat was when I first turned 21 and the Casino Aztar was docked in Downtown Evansville. However, it wasn't doing cruises then. I think I need to head over to Louisville and change this!

Riverboat Cruises for Mom and Dad

When looking at the different cruise options I saw that the Belle of Louisville Riverboats will be hosting a special riverboat cruise for Mother's Day and another one for Father's Day. Now this certainly sounds like a day your parents won't soon forget.

These excursions are each themed around mom or dad, and The Belle of Louisville Riverboats has a couple of different options. You can choose to include the meal on the excursion or just choose to leisure. Honestly, both sound good to me.

For Mom, they are hosting a special Paddlewheels and Pancakes event, and for Dad, they're hosting BBQ on the Belle. Both of these events are family-friendly. Mother's Day and Father's Day will be here before you know it, so it's never too early to start planning.
