Western Kentucky Business Collecting Toys for Kids at Isaiah 117 House

The holiday season is always a good time to take a moment to be thankful for the things we have. In this case, the ability to spread some holiday cheer by getting gifts for our friends and loved ones. Few things are better than watching a kid's face light up when they receive a gift they've wanted for a long time. Unfortunately, kids in the foster care system waiting for a family to take them in may not get the chance to experience that joy. That's why a couple of western Kentucky business owners are hoping you'll help by donating a toy to their Toy Drive benefiting Isaiah 117.

What is Isaiah 117?

Isaiah 117 is a non-profit organization founded by Ronda Paulson and her husband, Corey in Johnson City, Tennesse after learning that many kids in the foster care system find themselves living in the offices of their local Department of Children's Services after they've been removed from a home and are waiting for another family to take them in. Clay, KY Business Owners Hosting Toy Drive for Isaiah 117

Chase Baker, the mind behind the Fat Boy app, which helps you find the best places to eat your favorite foods, will host a toy drive in Clay, Kentucky this Saturday (December 16th, 2023) from Noon until 3:00 PM at Jeri's Cafe at 9109 State Route 132 West. New, unwrapped toy donations can be dropped off at the event which will feature the popular Rollin' with Jelly food truck, or in advance at 66 West Railroad Street in Clay between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

All donations will be giving to Isaiah 117 and distributed to the children they serve.
