It's almost time for all things Fall.  Jackson's Orchard in Bowling Green is preparing for a big ole' Apple Fest this weekend with lots of apples, concessions, and so much fun.

Jackson's Orchard has been in operation since 1966.  It is a family-owned working farm.  They are located in Bowling Green at 1280 Slim Island Road.

Here's some more info on the orchard according to their Facebook page;

Open mid-April to mid-November offering in-season fruits, vegetables, and spring plants for your home and garden.  Our signature products are our juicy, fresh-picked peaches, our crisp, sweet apples & our fresh-squeezed apple cider. Our Fall Pumpkin Festival is a regional attraction giving families a perfect place to enjoy fall weekends.
Depending on the time of year you'll also find cherries, strawberries, summer & fall fruits & vegetables, pumpkins, wagon rides, homemade strawberry or peach ice cream, caramel apples, fried pies, and a children's playground full of activities!

This weekend they are hosting an Apple Fest where visitors can come out and pick apples, enjoy yummy apple treats, and play on their massive interactive playground for just $3 a person.

If you're unable to make the Apple Fest this weekend the orchard also hosts a Pumpkinfest every weekend in October with Hayrides to the pumpkin patch, a cornfield maze, u-pick apples, a petting zoo, moonwalk, face painting, and tons of delicious treats.

The orchard is open Monday thru Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Some Sunday afternoons 1-5 p.m.  They will also be open on Labor Day weekend if you want to take your family.

Reid's Orchard Adds Their Own Petting Zoo To The Farm

Reid's Orchard is one of our family's favorite places to just go and hang out whether we're picking apples or playing in Reidland. I recently visited and they had some cute new furry faces.
