Kacey Musgraves Met Ann From Walmart & We Are All Jealous!

SO, I know most people would think, "Oh, that sweet woman is so lucky! She got to meet Kacey Musgraves!" And YES, of course I am a HUGE FAN of the lovely country icon whose new clever and authentic album 'Dry Spell' has been playing on repeat at my house.

However, I think Kacey would agree that the icon in THIS moment is Ann. Ann is a beloved Walmart employee from Ashland, Kentucky, who has gained a gigantic following on social media. Over two years ago, I first saw her in my Facebook feed promoting Snoop Dogg jogging suits. You can read more about that here:

Immediately, I was like, "I would buy anything this woman tells me to. I need one of those." Can you imagine wearing a Snoop Dogg jogging suit? LOL! She had me ready to buy one. That's the power of Ann's marketing skills, baby. She is hilarious!

Throwing Punches & Throwing Shade

Here is a funny video from back in January, getting folks fixed up with workout gear. She makes a joke about Randy, whom I am pretty sure is her husband. She is throwing punches and throwing some shade his way, which is all in good fun, of course! Watch:

QVC ain't got NOTHIN' on her. More than once, I have seen one of her videos for something and planned a Walmart trip just to see if my local store has the same product for the same price. Even if they don't, I always find something else I "need." When Ann says, "Come on down and see us. We'll fix you right up," I believe her. So do her followers who have started the hashtag #weloveann

She even has some pretty famous fans! At the beginning of the year, Kacey Musgraves stitched a video doing her best Ann impression. She did a pretty good job, but there is only one Ann! Watch:

IYKYK! When I saw these two divas flash on my feed, I let out a little squeal! I thought I was excited about the Kacey and Miranda collaboration. That was nothing compared to the joy that filled my heart to see Kacey and THE ONE AND ONLY ANN in a video together.

With Kacey's new line of Lee apparel and accessories, this is perfect! Just a couple of America's sweethearts! I also have to add that once again, Ann worked her sales magic on me. It helps that Kacey's line is ADORABLE. I got online to see the collection, and then went to the Walmart. I HAD to pick up the blue jean patchwork bag with a keychain. And the "Haven't been early since '88" shirt because...well... It's mostly true.

I highly recommend following Ann on Facebook. She's equally good and bad for the pocketbook, but she'll make you smile every day! Just like Kacey Musgraves. Two women who just show up as themselves (one on a stage, one in a Walmart aisle) and somehow both make the world a little brighter.
