Kentucky Remembers is a day to honor and remember our nation's heroes and first responders, held here in Owensboro, Kentucky.  The event always takes place the same Saturday in November as the Veterans Day Parade.

Kentucky Remembers began as a simple concert in 2012 where the Owensboro community united together to show love and support for the Mullins family after their middle son SPC Brandon Scott Mullins  was killed in Afghanistan on August 25, 2011 when his unit was attacked by an IED.  Since, the event has grown into a 5k, 1 mile Walk, and a Fun Run for Little Warriors starting at 8 a.m.
