Kentucky UPS Driver Arrested for Package Theft, But He’s No ‘Porch Pirate’
In the lead-up to Christmas, we were getting welcome warnings about packages being stolen from porches.
This leads me to wonder if you can call someone a "porch pirate" if they never had to go near your porch to do the pirating?
A UPS driver in Louisville never did. He simply didn't deliver the packages and has now been arrested for his actions.
WHAS-Louisville reports that 38-year-old Jon Keen's home was loaded with merchandise he kept for himself and didn't deliver.
Among the items authorities found were "high-end electronics" and a packaged containing very expensive perfume and cologne.
Watches intended for a "Royal Air Force Captain"--which the suspect sold on EBay--were also among the recovered items.
Louisville police charged Keen, who has a history of arrests for various reasons, with receiving stolen property.
