Kentucky Women Celebrate Bald Men on National Bald is Beautiful Day

There is a misconception that all women want a man like those featured on the cover of romance novels. A Fabio type with luscious locks to run our fingers through. I know baldness can be a source of embarrassment for some fellas, but it shouldn't be! Men often have no control over whether or not they lose their hair, I am a firm believer that they should just embrace it! And trust me, when you do, studies prove the ladies will LOVE it.

I know I sure do! I have been with my husband for 17 years now, and while he is absolutely rocking a beautiful bald head, he didn't start with the Mr. Clean realness. Here he is back in the day before he started losing his hair. It did start thinning and turning lighter in his late 20s. I wonder if it's because he wore hats often or if it was just his genetic makeup that caused it.

Either way, he is my sexy "Hunkasaurus Rex" the nickname I have always had listed on my phone for him.   Now, it's not all gone, so he will shave it smooth as a baby's bottom. On those days, he is REALLY feeling himself, and am so here for it! That confidence is one of my favorite qualities of his. Sure enough, that is something a lot of women also find attractive. There are actually several reasons proven by science that women love bald men.

Health Digest presented a study "done by psychologist Ronald Henss, with over 20,000 subjects, alluded to findings that bald men are evaluated as being wiser and more intelligent."  They've made a conscious decision to quit holding onto the patches of hair they have left which makes them more attractive.

In an experiment done by the University of Pennsylvania, "bald men are seen as more dominant, they may also appear to have better leadership skills."  The most interesting part of that study was that bald men were also perceived as being taller. "It was during the second experiment of the study, when hair was digitally removed from the first photo, that participants rated bald men as being about an inch taller. Men with "thinning" hair seemed to fare the worst compared to both bald men and men with a full head of hair."

That checks because I also polled some of my friends who have bald significant others. Some said that their partner's bald head made them focus on other pleasing aspects like their height, their smile, and their physique.  Of course, I am an absolute sucker for someone with charisma. That is one of my favorite things about my Hunkasaurus Rex. When he is freshly bald, it's like his battery is fully charged! I'll follow him around to rub his head like a crystal ball. It's so soft!
