In an effort to curb the number of people it can have in its stores at a given time, the Menards company has taken steps to reduce the high volume of traffic.

The Wisconsin-based home improvement giant has announced it will no longer allow children under the age of 16 into its stores. The same goes for pets, with the exception of service dogs.

A banner at the top of the Menards website's home page states new adjusted hours and the new directive. It also indicates that anyone who looks younger than 16 will need to show I.D. before entering the store.
