Popular Owensboro Tattoo Shop Will Add New Location in Madisonville

In August of 2022, Melissa Smith, who owns Lady Luck Tattoo and Body Piercing on Scherm Road in Owensboro, made an exciting announcement. To celebrate her 15th anniversary as a local shop owner, Melissa announced an expansion to Henderson.

A few weeks later, Lady Luck Tattoo & Body Piercing II was born. Over a year later, that second shop- located at 315 Turner Avenue- is doing well. And here's some more exciting news. That location and the one in Owensboro are about to have a baby sister!

Melissa just announced plans for Lady Luck Tattoo & Body Piercing III, which will be located in Hopkins County. Yes! Melissa is adding a new location in Madisonville. The new shop is expected to open in early 2024 and will be located at 101 Nebo Road, Suite G.

Melissa teased her big announcement over the weekend on social media.

As she prepares to open her third location, Melissa is looking to hire staff in Madisonville. As a matter of fact, she is looking to add two tattoo artists to her existing roster, which includes two other tattoo artists and a full-time piercing specialist.
