Last Minute Christmas Wish Toy Run Happens this Weekend in McLean County

Iron Legacy MC and Brothers of Ares Vet/LE MC are hosting a Christmas Wish Toy Drive. Christmas Wish has over 1,900 wish letters to fill, so this last-minute event will help us get to the finish line.

Santa's Workshop is buzzing with elves who are filling wish letters from all across the tri-state. So, rev up your bike, hit the open road, and head over to McLean County. You can help bring joy to the lives of children this holiday season. I just can't say enough about the biking community. It truly melts my heart when I see big rugged men pull up on their motorcycles carrying toys. When they walk in holding baby dolls and stuffed animals. It's just amazing, and I appreciate the community so much. Whenever you need help with a fundraiser or a family is in need, you can count on them to "show up". They ALWAYS show up. I'm grateful for the passion shown to area families.

HOTTEST CHRISTMAS WISH TOYS

It's been a very difficult year for many of our neighbors, and that's why we want to help bring the Christmas spirit into their homes. There are so many ways you can help in the Christmas Wish mission. We have over 1,900 wish letters in the system, so we have a good idea of what toys are the hottest. If you're out shopping watch for sales on items children are asking for most this holiday season.

Below are the top toys that have been requested so far. Last year we handed out over 30,000 toys, hundreds of winter jackets, gloves/mittens, and hundreds of diapers to put it all in perspective.

We're located at Towne Square North here in Owensboro. We will be located by Plato's Closet and Mega Replay in the shopping center. If you want to drop off a letter or donations, you can do so Monday through Friday from 9-6 or Saturday & Sunday from 11-4 at the Christmas Wish office.
